I've been following Neil Howe (and the late William Strauss) since I was 24 years old, back in 1990. My post about his latest book got the most reads of anything I've written on Substack, so there's plenty of interest out there in generations:

Good ol' Seneca wrote "comparison is the thief of joy" so I don't go around looking for things to envy, but I'm very jealous of your sharing laughs with cleese.

I'm so pleased you and john linked buddhism and stoicism with CBT. It was while I was undergoing CBT for a touch of deppresion that I discovered stoicism via Wolfe's

A Man in Full. I'd already read and accepted bob Wright's thesis in why buddhism is true so I felt I'd discovered the most accurate worldview as a mix of the three.
