It doesn't appear in the press release or article, but the survey results do say that only 9% of students responded that "Words can be violence" "does not describe my views at all." Thus, 91% of students believe that "words can be violence" to some extent. It's on page 2 of the survey results if you'd like to take a look for yourself.

I missed the part of the survey where 90% of students say “words can be violence”, the lead-in statistic literally doesn’t appear.
What does appear is that 30+% of the general public seems to feel the phrase “words can be violence” wholly or somewhat matches their view.
Where did I miss the 90% response?
