Really enjoyed the speech Greg. “...stay curious, intellectually humble, and keep talking to each other...” is a great message. Educational institutions would be well served to make that the introductory paragraph of their campus speech codes. And, it’s a good way to ensure diversity of thought, and overcome the identity categorization of opinions that start with.”As a [blank] my view on [blank-related] issues is more valid than yours“. The contrapositive statement, which is, “be certain, intellectually arrogant , and only talk to people with whom you agree” describes a lot of the Commentariat.

I have yet to take a deep dive, soi may be covering ground you’ve already explored, but in just a cursory review of your content, have you explored the holistic roots of human behavior? For instance, Thomas Hubl’s ‘Healing Collective Trauma: A Process for Integrating Our Intergenerational and Cultural Wounds’ which explores the influence of unresolved and seemingly disconnected traumas impact on culture? Or Dr Gabor Mate’s ‘The Myth of Normal: Trauma, Illness, and Healing in a Toxic Culture’ which points to the role that trauma and stress, and the pressures of modern-day living, exert on our bodies and psyche as a hidden factor.
