Ah yes, to defend someone else’s right to say or print something you might not agree with. There was a famous quote on this and it escapes me……

Sigh… I do DISAPPROVE OF some of WHAT Greg and his team that YOU know well SAY;

BUT I WILL acknowledge that even that disagreement bit you can at least DEFEND, and so even though you’re now just boring me TO THE DEATH. I suppose YOUR RIGHT TO SAY IT…

Greg:

I've already sent in my yearly Ember Club membership dues. You're welcome.

May I suggest you take a cue from the National Rifle Association please? The NRA has no position on abortion, transgenderism, or any other topic that does not directly relate to the 2A.

When you perpetuate the repeatedly debunked myth (liberal Snopes no less) that Trump supported white nationalists in Charlotte, as you do in your book, you're needlessly alienating supporters and potential supporters. Trump being a racist or not has nothing whatsoever to do with free speech or mind coddling. A better editor would have caught that for you.

Like the NRA, stay in your own lane please. Otherwise, you're doing a great job.

What book from Greg states that? I thought everyone has known for a long while that the media maliciously edited Trump’s statement to make it sound like he said that when he didn’t. I thought I had read all Greg’s books but I don’t remember Greg stating that. Which of his books stated that? I have all his books so I’d really like to check that.

So thankful that there's ANYONE still arguing for free speech on principle! ❤ Consider me signed up.

It was difficult sending a donation this year, not for opposition to FIRE’s numerous achievements, but because I also felt the need to contribute to the victims of free speech.

I endorse the statement above, and your organization is on the nice list at Christmas.

Why, though, is Northern Illinois University no longer among the unis rated for their speech codes, and what happened to the old "Red Light" widget?

I was let go from a community college professor contract for things I said anonymously, not referring to my job at all, extramurally and FIRE didn't seem very interested in defending me when I asked. I said some things, protected speech as a matter of public interest, that many or most would consider to be racist and sexist.

I think you're not as principled as you claim.

I hope that’s not true. I hope FIRE would even defend the KKK the way the ACLU did back in the day.

Sorry for your personal troubles, and I don’t speak for FIRE, but it is fair to suppose that they cannot accept every case.
